He married Mararet Pettistree Hintlesham, England. Mararet was born Sutton by Woodbridge ca. 1415 Mararet was the daughter of William Pettistree of Sutton and Hintlesham; took up his wife's lands in 1436; feoffee for lands of Duke of Norfolk III 145; bought Hintlesham Manor in 1454.
